Bugs are a normal part of learning to program. Arrange the actions, press “Test sequence” and watch which step breaks the challenge rules.

Choose a challenge type

Age is only a guide. Choose according to experience.
Adult help is recommended for younger children: read the task and discuss the pictures together.

How to play

Use the arrows to reorder actions: ← and → in a row, ↑ and ↓ in a column.
If a card bank is shown, choose the missing action and insert it into the sequence.
Press “Test sequence”. The diagram highlights the first step that does not match the plan. Green means “correct”; red means “needs fixing”.

Computational thinking: what is debugging?

Debugging means finding a problem, making a change and testing again. This game compares your sequence with the task’s specific plan. It helps you spot missing steps and dependencies: for example, changes must be made before saving them. Real programs can run more complex algorithms; everyday activities sometimes allow more than one order of actions.
